Col. Sambo Dasuki, the embattled ex-National Security Adviser to the nation, has again failed to appear in court for his trial.
Dasuki,, who was suppose to appear for his trial on Wednesday, at a Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court in Abuja, once again stalled his trial.
According to the prosecuting counsel Rotimi Jacobs (SAN) while at yesterday’s hearing, he said Dasuki refused to come to the court because his lead counsel would be absent.
According to Jacob who tried persuading Dasuki, he told the court that the embattled NSA said:
unless you abduct me, I am not coming.
Jacob while Citing Sections 267(2) of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act, said he believed it was a deliberate effort made by the first defendant and his counsel not to appear in court.
The case was adjourned till April 6, by Justice Husseini Baba- Yusuf.
