French man and former Newcastle winger Hatem Ben Arfa is close to completing a move to Barcelona according to his parent club, Nice’s president.
The french man who has rejuvinated his career since leaving Newcastive two years ago, is enjoying an impressive season in the south of France, having contributed 17 goals and five assists in 32 league games.However, Nice’s president says he will be delighted for Ben Arfa to move to the La Liga and European champions this summer.
“I would be very happy for him and for Nice if this move comes off,” Jean Pierre Rivere told France 3.”You do not reject Barcelona, but it is up to him to decide.If I was a player and Barcelona was offered to me, I would not ask questions, I would go. But it is not yet done, according to what I am told.”
