Stoke City have agreed a £13m fee with Liverpool for Welsh international, Joe Allen subject to personal agreement.
The Wales midfielder now faces a decision on his future with just one year left on his deal at Anfield.Liverpool are ready to cash in on the Euro 2016 star, but Stoke are so far the only club who have agreed a deal with the player.Allen, 26, is believed to prefer a move back to Swansea, the club he left in 2012 to join the Reds.But the Swans have not yet met Liverpool’s price for the midfielder.Stoke boss Mark Hughes is a big fan of Allen and will try to convince him to make the move to the Britannia Stadium.
Allen signed for Liverpool in a £20m deal back in 2012 when he followed former boss Brendan Rodgers from south Wales to Merseyside.But he has struggled to nail down regular football under current Kop boss Klopp and is future now appears to be away from Anfield.
