Sergio Aguero is set to miss the Manchester derby after being charged with violent conduct for elbowing Winston Reid.
The Argentine striker will most likely not be available when Pep Guardiola’s side take on Manchester United on September 10.Aguero was cited for his elbow on the West Ham defender during Manchester City’s 3-1 Premier League victory over West Ham on Sunday at the Etihad.

And the Football Association took the decision on Tuesday to charge the Manchester City striker, and he has until 6pm on Wednesday to respond.If Aguero’s appeal is unsuccessful, he will likely face a three-match ban, meaning he would miss the matches with Manchester United, Bournemouth and Swansea in September.
