Review: 6 Features You Need To Know About Before Getting The Phantom 6 Plus

Tecno Phantom 6 and Tecno Phantom 6 Plus is Tecno’s latest flagship as they redefined premium for the brand making it one of the top smartphones of 2016. We would be taking a look into the world of Tecno 6 plus and what it has to deliver.

The Tecno Phantom 6 Plus has an incredibly beautiful design just as its predecessor, the Tecno phantom 5. The 6 inch display is exceptional; from the unpacking to the phone itself is breathtaking. It brings with it something different with well packaged fancy designs with space for SIM cards and ejector pins. If you enjoy watching movies on your phones then the case also provides a good balance for such, providing a huge level of comfort.

There was so much fuss about the Iris scanner on the Camon C9 but it turned out that it still needed a whole of upgrade, well, the beast also comes in the same feature but this time it works but takes forever for it to work.

The 8 MP front camera of the Tecno Phantom 6 Plus is quite all right, nevertheless, the selfie camera does not perform very well under low light but it is reasonably good enough for a selfie. The 21 MP back camera on the other hand did not surprise me and I must say is actually something. It has a protruding camera that some kinda class and fancy at the same time although am a bit skeptical.

Tecno, has never failed when it comes to batteries and they didn’t with the beast taking over 9 hours to run down when fully charged. The 4,050 mAh non-removable battery of the Tecno Phantom 6 Plus is the real deal, but still doesn’t change switch-off to non-removable batteries but they tend to be the future of smartphones. It takes 2 hours 45 minutes to charge to a 100% when the phone is switched off.

Since the rise of dollar who has obviously decided not to slow down, smartphones are actually expensive in the market and that is why for a price between ₦125-135 is a fair price for the Tecno Phantom 6.

When it comes to phone performance, phone memory and security is what I pay attention to when it comes to getting a new phone and I must say the Tecno Phantom 6 plus meets that requirement with a 64 GB internal memory and 4 GB RAM, a reasonable command of security makes it worth having. I need not say how fast it is because the specs speak volumes of it.

Am not a fan of Tecno but the new flagship is quite tempting and meets the criteria of smartphone of 2016.
