Four days after signing new contract, a Cameroonian football star, has had his contract terminated for testing positive to HIV.
The 21-year old player known as Samuel Nlend, who recently signed a contract with a Premier League Egyptian club, Al Ittihad, was fired after a routine medical test carried out revealed that he is positive for HIV.

Al Ittihad’s media spokesperson, made the announcement and also published the test results.
Nlend,who played formerly for Union Douala, is regarded as one of the brightest soccer stars in Cameroon. He was the highest goal scorer at the last Cameroonian soccer league season.
The 21-year old, earlier this year, also played and scored for the country’s senior team at the African Nations Championship in Rwanda.
