Nigeria Seeded In Pot 2 Of World Cup Qualifier

The official seedings of the World Cup qualifying in Africa has finally been made.

Russia is set to host the World Cup in 2018 and the seedings were made at the CAF Headquarters this after much controversies surrounding the seeding process.

Nigeria are in  the Pot 2 in the seedings while Cameroon are the biggest fallers, falling to pot 3.Former African champions, Zambia are seeded in pot 4 while Africa’s number one team Algeria are seeded in pot 1 alongside African champions Ivory Coast.

Here are the seedings in full;

pot 1     Algeria, Senegal ,Ghana, Senegal, Tunisia

pot 2    Cape Verde, Congo DR, Egypt, Mali, Nigeria

pot 3   Cameroon, Congo, Guinea, Morocco, South Africa

pot 4   Burkina Faso, Gabon, Libya, Uganda, Zambia
