Manchester United star Anthony Martial has revealed he is with new Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho and the prospect of lining up alongside Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Mourinho’s appointment at Old Trafford has led to increased speculation he could be joined at United by the Swedish striker, who played for Mourinho at Inter Milan before leaving for Barcelona.
Ibrahimovic is a free agent after his contract with Paris Saint Germain expired and Martial – who has been named in the France squad for Euro 2016 despite suffering from a thigh injury – is keen to see the 34-year-old in the Premier League.
He said: “We know that Mourinho is a great coach, one of the best in the world. If Zlatan was to come, it would be really good. He’s a great striker, he will bring us experience.”
France face Scotland at the Stade Saint Symphorien in Metz ahead of their opening European Championship group game against Romania on June 10.
