English Referee Mark Clattenburg and his team will be the man in the middle in the Champions league final.
The Premier League official and his assistant referees Simon Beck and Jake Collin will also be joined by additional assistants Anthony Taylor and Andre Marriner.
Clattenburg and his team have taken charge of three matches at Euro 2016, including Switzerland v Poland in the Round of 16 and the group games between Czech Republic and Croatia and Belgium’s clash with Italy. And it rounds off a fine season for the County Durham-based official, who has refereed The Emirates FA Cup Final and the UEFA Champions League Final in recent months.
It also completes a strong two years for English officials on the international scene, with Clattenburg and Martin Atkinson now having officiated at all of UEFA’s major matches such as the Euro Final, Champions League Final, Europa League Final and UEFA Super Cup.
