If you think prepaying for items purchased online is not a good thing or you worry about paying for goods and not getting exactly what you want, you might want to have a rethink because Konga is offering customers who do so a massive discount.
The online shopping mall, which claims it is the biggest in Nigeria, has announced a 33% discount to customers who prepay for their orders.
The deliveries will be made through KOS Delivery Courier, Konga’s delivery service. In some cases however, deliveries may be made through other reputable couriers featured sellers have that option.
Prepayment can be done via KongaPay, ATM or cash deposit/transfer. Doing so activates the Buyer Protection Program, which should be a big deal for every buyer!
Presently in the country, there is no doubt in our minds that things are tough, everyone is looking how to get cheaper things to buy and if Konga is true to their words, then it looks like an offer hard to resist.
In my honest opinion, the discount is a clever marketing move by Konga, which has come under fire following revelations it has only 184,000 active customers, especially with other online competitors.
In two or three years from now, I’ll expect Konga’s active customers (apparently those who use the platform on rare occassions weren’t considered to have increased, especially if they keep outing amazing offers like this one.
