Kogi State Governor Orders Head Of Service To Proceed On 30-days Compulsory Leave

Few weeks after ordering 38 permanent secretaries in the State’s civil service to go on compulsory leave, Governor Bello Yahaya of Kogi state, has again brought down the hammer, this time he ordered the state’s Head of Service, Mr Moses Atakpa, to also go on a 30-days compulsory leave.

Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Mr. Kingsley Fanwo, made this known to newsmen at Lokoja on Wednesday, adding that the leave took effect from March 15th.

Speaking on whom to take over from Atakpa while he embarks on his compulsory leave, Fanwo, revealed that the most senior director in the State’s service will act in his place until his (Atakpa’s return)
