Gold Shirt Owner Killed In Son’s Presence (Photo)


Datta Phuge, who became famous back in 2013, for buying one of the world’s most expensive shirts made entirely of gold, about 3kg of gold and worth $250,000, has been killed.

According to police, Phuge, who is Indian, was allegedly battered to death allegedly battered to death in presence of his son.

Phuge, 48,  who is also a money-lender, was allegedly descended upon by 12 men on Thursday night, who  hit him with a sickle and stones.

Police, according to BBC, reports that the  deceased’s 22-year-old son witnessed the attack, but was was not harmed. 4 people are now been questioned in connection with the murder.

Reports have it that the alleged killers, invited Phuge and his son to a birthday party at an upon ground in Dighi area when the men attacked him with stones and a sharp weapon.

Dighi police station inspector Navnath Ghogare told the Press Trust of India news agency saying:
