FOOTBALL: Super Eagles Invites 26 Players For Mali, Luxemborg Friendlies

Super Eagles interim coach, Salisu Yusuf has invited 26 players for the friendly matches against Luxemborg and Mali in Europe, the NFF has announced.

The players invited constitutes majorly of foreign players with captain Mikel Obi and assistant captain, Ahmed Musa leading the list, Alex Iwobi and Kelechi Iheanacho also gets an invite while Brown Ideye is brought back into the fold after his impressive season with Olympiacos.Williem Trost Ekong , Kenneth Omeruo and Leon Balogun also return after missing out of the squad to play Egypt while Kingsley Madu is also considered.Portugal based Chidozie Awaziem gets a first invite and would be looking to force himself into the squad while former U-17 and U-20 skipper Musa Mohammed gets a call up to the men’s senior national team for the first time.Here are the full list of invitees;
