Liverpool pulled off one of the most stunning comeback in Europa League history after coming from behind,twice,to ensure qualification to the Europa League semi finals.
All seemed to have been lost for Liverpool after Bourissia Dortmund raced into the lead on the 4th minute through Mkhitariyan,there was even further blow as Aubameyang scored again in the 9th minute,leaving Liverpool with what seems like a huge mountain to climb.Divock Origi scored inbetween the legs of Weidenfeller,the Dortmund goalkeeper early in the second half but that was soon cancelled out by Marco Reus on the 57th minute leaving Liverpool needing three goals to qualify.With this seeming almost impossible,the possibility happened.On the 66th minute in a sweet passing move,it ended with Coutinho playing a one-two with Milner before burying the ball on the right hand corner to make it 3-2.Dortmund were now all over the place while Liverpool kept pushing.On the 78th minute,a corner flicked to the near post by Sturridge found Sakho who nodded into the net,3-3, game on,Liverpool had to score in the next twelve minute plus extra time and after much preessing,the goal came in extra time with Dejan Lovren nodding in a James Milner cross to the silence of the Dortmund fans,the comeback was complete and memories of Istanbul 2005 filled the whole arena and the full rendition “We Will Never Walk Alone”.

In the other games,Athletico Bilbao overturned a 2-1 home defeat over Sevilla and had to resolve to penalties where Sevilla prevailed 5-4.Sevilla now reach their third semi-final in a row.Shaktar Doneskt also defeated Sporting Braga 4-0 to qualify 6-1 on aggregate while Villareal defeated Sparta Prague 4-2 to qualify 6-3 on aggregate.
Liverpool,Sevilla,Shaktar Doneskt and Villareal now qualify for the semi-final draw to be made later today.
