Italy boss Antonio Conte has dropped Andrea Pirlo, Sebastian Giovinco and Mario Balotelli from his 30-man squad for the Euros in France next month.
Mario Balotelli was dropped after finding it hard to break into the first team at AC Milan while Giovinco and Pirlo can point out to the fact that they play in the less rated MLS IN USA. West Ham defender Angelo Ogbonna, Manchester United full-back Matteo Darmian and Southampton striker Graziano Pelle are all included.Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio, 30, has already been ruled out with a knee injury while Stephan EL Sharrawy has also been left out despite impressing for AS Roma.
Six players from Juventus makes the list as well as players from Fiorentina, Napoli and AS Roma.Conte will be expected to finalise his 23-man squad by the end of this month.Here is the squad in full;
