Third richest man in Britain and billionaire landowner, Gerald Gavendish, has died.
Gavendish, who is also the Duke of Westminster suddenly passed at the age of 64 today, he died from a heart attack. According to the spokeswoman for his estate, he passed away at the Royal Preston Hospital in Lancashire.
According to Sunday Times Rich List 2016 , the Duke was worth £9.35 billion, which automatically placed him as the third richest British national and 68th richest billionaire in the world.
With his tragic passing, it means his son, Hugh, 25, will now inherit his estate, and the family seat in Cheshire, Eaton Hall.
