Deadline Day: Tottenham Sign Marseille Winger As Sunderland Sign Midfielder For Record Deal

Tottenham have completed the signing of attacking midfielder Georges-Kevin N’Koudou from Marseille. ndong-didier-a-c_3776045

The 21-year-old has signed a contract which runs until 2021, while Spurs have sent Clinton N’Jie to Marseille on a season-long loan deal.The deal for N’Koudou has been in the pipeline for a while and the player has been training with Spurs for the last week, having agreed personal terms.

Born in Versailles, N’Koudou is a France U21 international who began his career at Nantes before moving on to Marseille last summer.He went on to enjoy an impressive season with OM, scoring 10 times in 41 appearances and bagging four goals in the Europa League.

Sunderland have broken their transfer record by signing Lorient midfielder Didier Ndong for a fee £13.6m on a five-year contract.
