Christian Eriksen Sign New Four Years Contract Extension At Tottenham

Tottenham playmaker Christian Eriksen has signed a new four-year contract at the club.

The 24-year-old Denmark international is understood to have increased his basic wage from £35,000 to £70,000 per week – putting him among the club’s top earners.

Eriksen had two years left to run on the five-year deal he signed when he joined from Ajax in 2013.

“If you feel there is a good project ahead of you, you will take the chance to build on it and that’s what we’re doing at Spurs,” he told the club’s official website.

“There are eight players playing a lot of games and with that experience you can only get better and better because none of us are that old yet.

“Everyone wants to be here, everyone wants to improve and everyone wants to win games.”
