Chelsea have tabled a British record £65million bid for Everton striker, Romelu Lukaku.
New Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has told the club to go out and get the Everton striker to reinforce his strike force for the new season.
Reports says Chelsea have told Everton they want an answer by the weekend and are prepared to throw striker Loic Remy in as a possible makeweight to get the deal over the line.
But the Blues are adamant they are not going to be held to ransom and are prepared to miss out on signing the striker like they were last summer after the clubs could not agree a fee for defender John Stones.
