President Muhammadu Buhari has refused to sign the 2016 budget and has returned the budget back to the National Assembly. The spokesman of the House of Representatives, Abdurazaq Namdas confirmed the news yesterday.
Confirming this development to journalists, Namdas said the President returned the controversy-ridden budget to the National Assembly citing some grey areas that needs to be adjusted, which he refused to disclose.
Namdas said, “I can confirm to you that we are in possession of the letter from the president identifying grey areas.”
