President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the timetable for Nigeria’s 2017 budget following the Federal Executive Council meeting held today.Minister of Budget and National Planning, Geoffrey Onyeama said this at the end of the FEC meeting. He said the calendar was approved with plans to ensure that the budget is passed before the end of the year.
Meanwhile, when asked about the 2016 budget, Geoffrey said there is no set date for the budget signing because the president needs to go through the budget properly before he assents.
