Bounemouth have completed the signing of Chelsea young defender Nathan Ake on a season long loan.
Ake spent last season on loan at Watford where he played 24 games and scored one goal. The club confirmed it in a statement on their website;
“AFC Bournemouth have completed the signing of defender Nathan Ake on a season long loan from Chelsea.The 21-year-old will bolster Eddie Howe’s options ahead of the Cherries’ second season in the Premier League.Aké, who spent his formative years with ADO Den Haag and Feyenoord before arriving at Stamford Bridge, has already experienced top-flight football with both his parent club and Watford.

The Netherlands under-21 international made 32 appearances for the Hornets last term, including two starts against AFC Bournemouth.
