The return on investment in Nigeria is much higher than that of other countries, Acting Managing Director, Bank of Industry (BOI), Mr Waheed Olagunju, says.
According to him, Nigeria ranked fourth with 35 per cent on return investment in the World.
However, Nigerians can opt for other countries where the return on investment is 15% but the risks are not as high as Nigeria, he pointed out.
“So we have to put all those things into consideration by ensuring that we promote industrialisation and transform the Nigeria economy within the shortest time possible.”
If these things aren’t done, Nigeria may not be able to harmonise the challenges in the country, particularly that of unemployment, he said.
He spoke on Saturday on the sidelines of BOI media parley titled: “Sustaining Nigeria’s industrial sector growth through impactful partnership,” in Lagos.
