Benitez signed a three years contract with the club with a clause stating he can easily walk out if the club is relegated at the end of the season.Despite a brave fight, the club was still relegated and the club have move quickly to convince the experienced Spaniard to remain at St James’s park.He has now decided to stay on at St James’ Park after thrashing out a deal with Magpies owner Mike Ashley and managing director Lee Charnley.
