FC Barcelona and player Alex Song have reached an agreement to terminate the contact that bound the two parties.
Song played 34 games for Barcelona in the 2012/13 season under Tito Vilanova and a further 31 in 2013/14 when Gerardo Martino was in charge. In 65 games in total, he scored one goal against Real Zaragoza.
Rubin Kazan therefore confirmed the signing of the former Arsenal and West Ham midfielder Alex Song.The Cameroon international spent two seasons on loan at the Hammers after failing to establish himself in the Barcelona side but has joined the Russian club as a free agent.An announcement on Rubin’s official website did not give details of the 28-year-old’s deal.

The defensive-midfielder, who has won 49 caps for his national team, joined Arsenal in 2006 and spent six years in London before moving to Barcelona.
