Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been clear and forceful about his future with the striker’s only desired destination being Real Madrid.
In an interview with German public television channel ZDF, Aubameyang revealed that Los Blancos are the sole club that could possibly tempt him away from Borussia Dortmund and bring an end to his three-year spell at the Westfalenstadion.
“The only club that could make me move from Dortmund is Real Madrid and no other club at this time,” the 27-year-old said.
Aubameyang denied in this same interview that there had been talks with Atletico Madrid, the other Spanish team who have made their interest known for the Gabon international.
This isn’t the first occasion that the former Saint-Etienne forward has shown his asiprations to join Real, although he remains on the agenda of numerous other big European clubs.
Aubameyang’s value is regarded by Dortmund to be around 100 million, who refuse to let go of another star player after seeing the likes of Robert Lewandowski and Mats Hummels depart for Bayern Munich over the past two years.
