Arsenal have unveiled their new kit for the 2016/17 season.A statement on the clubs website reads.Arsenal and kit partner PUMA have unveiled the Gunners’ 2016/17 home kit through a series of exclusive images and videos.
Stars including Santi Cazorla, Olivier Giroud and Hector Bellerin showcase the new strip, which once again features the red-and-white shirt so synonymous with club. Other shirt details include a distinctive vertical stripe down the front, a heat transfer gothic A on the reverse of the neck and a stitched V-neck and PUMA’s iconic T7 Form Stripe running along each sleeve.The accompanying shorts are white with a red band along the side and the socks are red with the white PUMA cat on the front and have a white fold over top.
A very limited number of ACTV Player shirts are available for supporters looking to purchase the players’ version of the kit, which is more fitted and features PUMA’s new apparel technology, ACTV Thermo-R. Strategically inserted in both the front and the back of the shirt, Thermo-R helps players maintain an optimum body temperature.Speaking about the new kit, Bellerin said: “We are really pleased with the way it looks. I think the fans are really going to like it. It’s a bit of a throwback as well. I like the design with the line in the centre, it’s something different. I’ve seen the players modelling it and I think it’s going to look really good.”
