Arsenal looks set to complete the signing of young Bolton defender, Rob Holding.
Arsenal had already made a bid for Holding that Bolton didn’t accept. The bid that has been accepted is apparently £2 million up front with plenty of add-ons. The Gunners boss is looking likely to keep Holding in the squad instead of loaning him back to Bolton as initially expected.
The 20-year-old has reportedly undergone a medical ahead of a move.Despite the club being relegated from the Championship last season, Holding picked up rave reviews. He was the club’s star player, praised for his maturity at such a tumultuous time. Many have tipped him to go on and replicate the achievements of Gary Cahill.
Cahill was at Bolton before moving to Chelsea and winning pretty much every trophy in club football.
