Arms Deal Fraud: Court Adjourns Trials Of Olisa Metuh, Alex Badeh To Same Day

The trial of former Chief of Defence Staff, Alex Badeh and People’s Democratic Party spokesperson, Olisa Metuh has been postponed  to the same day by the presiding judge, Justice Okon Abang.


Following their involvement in the $2.1 billion arms deal fraud supervised by former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, both men will be tried on Thursday, March 24, 2016.

Badeh was accused of money laundering to the tune of N3.9 billion while Metuh allegedly  laundered N400 million by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)

The former NSA, Dasuki, was arrested by the Department of State Services (DSS) on December 1, 2015 and handed over to the EFCC the day after.
