IBF World Heavyweight Champion Anthony Joshua wants to fight Deontey Wilder in his next fight in the USA.
Joshua’s first world title defence will also be screened in America on Showtime and the 26-year-old sees WBC boss Wilder as the ideal opponent when he travels across the Atlantic to fight in the United States.
He said “It is a big market. It comes with pressure, but one day I’ll box there and I’ll think to myself ‘why didn’t I capitalise on that market?’
“It’s something that I want to start progressing to. One of the fights that I’m going to have, I will go there. The person that springs to mind is Wilder. Then again I could go there and have one of those building fights that will showcase me to the American public before I get myself up to the big names like Wilder. It’s a good opportunity and it’s good that Showtime are on board, but I’ve got to win Saturday.”

Anthony Joshua who fight Breazeale this weekend talks about the fight, saying;
“It’s going to be interesting because we’ve seen Breazeale in a lot of wars.He’s almost been taken out by some of the smaller heavyweights, he’s been punched around, but he has always survived.We’ve seen Joshua has also been busted up as well, but he has kept his composure, and this fight is in his backyard among his people.I think that it’ll be a good fight because of Breazeale – I think he really wants it.”
