After the news broke regarding ‘’Brexit,’’ a lot of people are concerned where they stand, the merits and demerit surrounding their country and nation, trying to find out what happens next and what they should expect.
A lot of people are hitting the Google search hoping to find answers to their many questions and unfortunately not every search provided answers although some are satisfied and hoping that clarity speaks for itself in coming days.
Google has said there was a dramatic spike in searches for Irish passport applications as news of the UK’s decision to leave the EU broke.
Google also reported that there have been more searches for “what happens if we leave the EU” around midnight on 23 June and for other phrases such as “British Independence Day” and “Norway EU.”
People are concerned, some are probably terrified especially if visa would now be required and the restrictions that might follow suit.
Google Trends said it had recorded the highest-ever search interest in sterling.

“To do this, each data point is divided by the total searches of the geography and time range it represents, to compare relative popularity,” explains Google.
“The resulting numbers are then scaled to a range of 0 to 100.”
With all the uncertainty surrounding the ‘’Brexit’’ and every one doing the ‘’Ask Google,’’ people will keep searching till they get satisfied response to the questions asked.
